I was shopping yesterday and happened to see a purse I owned in the big window display at Banana Republic. Except mine is almost 30 years old and was hand-made by my mother when she was in college. And it didn't cost 78 bucks.

Banana Republic stole my mom's style. I hope I don't see that purse everywhere now. It's already taken away the I'm-the-only-one-in-the-world-with-this-bag feeling. And I like that feeling.
